welcome, 2011.

greetings friends! i apologise for my absence over the last few weeks. life has been a whirlwind lately! we moved into the new place just before christmas (photos will come soon!) and so we've been on a crazy mission unpacking a heap of boxes.
i also recently returned from toowoomba on sunday (just in time to miss the flash flooding) after being on an amazing camporee for two weeks. i was part of the praise and worship band for over 2500 pathfinders, and it was one of the most amazing, fun, exhausting and humbling experiences i've ever had. it was a fantastic start to the new year! i hope everyone has had a superb christmas and a great introduction to 2011, even despite these horrid floods. my heart goes out to people who have lost homes, offices and other belongings, but even more so to those who've lost their loved ones. my dad's office is over at west end and after we went to inspect the levels of the brisbane river late last night, it is more than likely that his entire office (which is only metres away from water) will be going under in the next 24 hours as the king tide comes. anyway, staying positive, i'm posting a few photos i've taken over the last few weeks, on the (not-so) old polaroid 300.

it's been a while.

Greetings! This is my first post in quite some time. Hopefully these pictures will fill you in on the last couple of weeks...

1. I made a pear pillow, and now my whole family wants their own.

2. I bought a Polaroid 300 camera.

3. Mum and Dad came home from the US and brought back some goodies.
(They also bought me some lights for the new room, but they will be revealed later!)

4. I bought the new Frankie 'Spaces' book. It is fab.

5. (Most of) my Brooke Fraser package came. I'm still waiting on the coffee table book!

6. I scored tickets to her concert at The Tivoli in January (eeek!)

7. I've been planning my new bedroom.

8. I sent some love-mail to one of my friends who goes to College in NSW.

9. I bought some fabric from Penelope & Pip's Etsy store.

10. I saw these beautiful peonies at the James St Markets in the Valley, and I was in awe.
